... Bleeding Between Periods

Belle & cheese with holes

One thing that literature has always been neglected is the cheese.
know literary (and film too) speaking of wine, chocolate, "tortillas", even someone I think Quasimodo, wrote an "Ode to the onion," but none that has as its protagonist, the good old smelly cheese.
So why not roll up our sleeves and we think some history? A story full of suspense ee cheese. A yellow
.
Emmental, to be precise.
Any ideas?

Got Mail me ... The last student

I like receiving mail, when I find an envelope addressed to me I feel a bit 'like a kid on Christmas morning. This happens to me with the bills, which sometimes makes me think about my eventual tendency to masochism, but was not the case this morning.
I open the door and what I find is resting on my doormat? A nice letter to the parent Minority in the City Council, Mr. Mario Pistone.
A premise: the political point of view, than as seems to be going in the rest of the boot, Mall and the village of Asterix and Obelix: Mayor comes from the old PCI and his Civic Party has a majority since time immemorial, periodically someone tries to take his place, but these attempts always resolve with confirmations of the electoral majority. At the last elections, "new men" who have proposed an alternative to a Government (which is to me is fine as it is) were another civil list, but supported by the then candidate and then President of the Province Angelo Vaccarezza (PDL), led by a former socialist already known in the political sphere (Mr. Mario Pistone, in fact).
No one should wonder then at the last municipal elections, my support went to the list of previous and current majority. Sometimes even a stinking communist like me small satisfaction in the political sphere.
So this morning, leaving home, I pick up the letter and I am pleased to welcome a new initiative by the minority: they have printed up some fancy stickers with the logo of their group (which shows an apple tree, symbol of the City of Mallare , against the backdrop of a hill and the sea two boats, but since in Mallare is the sea?) and the words "The Parent Mario cylinder 'with a contact address where appropriate. I smile and I think it was time, finally someone who does something useful for the village.
I open the envelope, which was being deposited at the door of every citizen mallaresi (or so I hope for them, and this sometimes makes me think about my eventual tendency to sadism) did not indicate the recipient, and we I find a curious "Open Letter to Citizens Mallaresi.
Letter I already read the blog of the Group, but since the elections have passed since their blog pretty much just read it and I imagine that the administrator have thought it was a bit 'low visibility as an "Open Letter".
This letter is in response to a previous response to open letter (but it would be better to say "Needless handbook") that the group sent recently to all citizens mallaresi to remind him that, despite having lost the elections, they are and are doing a lot of things in the interest of the village. Such as produce tons of questions from the City, so that in just over six months already fill an entire ring binder (more or less what they take all the resolutions of the City Council a full year, including the reports and all attachments). Interpellations on issues of topical (Which, purely by way of example, the "Request regular information on Motocross copy along the wooded areas of the City Mall" or "formless request a copy of the Rules of cremation services and burials) which obviously need to turn in a written response .
Hundreds of pounds of paper.
Poor trees.
I prefer when the minority group to print nice labels with the logo and the address of the parent company, if nothing else they do at their own expense and not the municipality itself.
Another thing that the minority group has made since he took office in City Council: voted against the approval of guidelines for the constitution of the province of Savona. This is not a big thing, who voted against feared account in almost all the votes. Why are minority. Why get involved more, have more decision-making power as regards the documents prepared by the Executive. But if it mattered more, say as much as others, are not the minority. And then someone tells me what we would have voted for?
the question of VAT, I realize, needs an explanation because it is not very clear. I will try to tell us what I understand it, and it is said that he understood everything, in fact I probably lost a few passages, but We can not claim to be perfect.
Then, the state approves some time ago a law which provides that the water supply, sewerage and waste management must go by the municipalities (who had managed until then) to a number of consortiums, divided into geographical areas, public and private joint venture. These consortia would be the famous ATO.
The State shall refer the creation and regulation of the ATO to the regions, these in turn download the buck to the provinces. The provinces in turn to the municipalities. One important thing to know is that this acceptance is by the notified, as required.
It 's a strange thing, that we must vote in a Town Council, however, one thing that is required to approve, in Europe a thing is only required by Italian law, but not the strangest thing happens in Italy.
What happens if a municipality did not approve something that is required to approve? Simply, the body immediately above, in this case the Province, send a Commissioner to approve the City Council instead. It then sends the bill to the City to get paid for the work of the Commissioner. And I'm
money, and not a few.
Mallare City Council in past years, has already voted twice against the ATO.
Twice now is the Commissioner, approved and gone leaving to pay.
What happened last October 30 in Council Hall was simply this: the majority has wised up: Why reject something that is REQUIRED to approve, if so then the same is approved with the added cost of the Commissioner?
Why not try other ways to prevent 'the fuck is the privatization of the aqueduct?
In fact, in the City Council was passed following an amendment to the Municipal Statute, the amendment provides that the tap water is considered essential and therefore goods can not be for profit.
This is to prevent the local waterworks may one day be outsourced to private, as individuals, and managed in order to make money.
What
voted the minority group at this City Council? Try a little 'guess?
right, voted against.
This afternoon there was another City Council in which I have also discussed this, I do not know how it happened because I was at work, but I think that soon someone will inform me about it.
One morning I open my door anxiously, feeling a bit 'like a child on Christmas morning, and I'll get a nice letter from the minority group, who will explain to me word for word that they are only interested in the welfare of village and they are doing a lot of useful things.
type present questions from curious.
type print friendly stickers to put on envelopes.
vote against type, even when common sense would say to vote PRO.
can rest assured, someone is watching over me and the village. And that reminds me whenever he can, in case you were distracted.
